Why Claude Apps?

  • No API key needed - OAuth authentication

  • Works automatically - No need to select source every chat

  • Available across devices - desktop and mobile apps can use it straight away

  • Persistent tools - No need to approve tools every time

  • 2 minute setup

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Add Intangle Connector

  1. Open Claude in the web or desktop app

  2. Open "Settings" and select "Connectors"

  3. Scroll to the bottom and select "Add Custom Connector"

  4. When prompted, you only need to enter the name and URL:

Name: Intangle

Step 2: Authorize in Browser

  1. You'll be redirected to your browser

  2. You'll see the Intangle authorization page

  3. Click "Allow" to give Claude (controlled) access to your Intangle memory

  4. Return to Claude

That's it! Claude Desktop now has access to your Intangle memory in every conversation.

No need to:

- Select sources at the start of each chat

- Approve tools in every new chat

- Configure anything else

It just works!

Verify Your Connection

Start a new chat in Claude Desktop and ask:

> "Can you list my Intangle spaces?"

If Claude responds with your space names, you're connected!

How to Use It

Just talk naturally in Claude Desktop:

Saving information:

- "Remember that I prefer TypeScript over JavaScript"

- "Save to my Work space: The API endpoint is https://api.example.com"

- "Create a task to review the authentication code"

Searching your memory:

- "What do I have in Intangle about authentication?"

- "Search my work space for API documentation"

- "Show me my pending tasks"

Viewing your spaces:

- "What spaces do I have?"

- "Show me my topics in the Work space"

Troubleshooting

Claude says it doesn't have access to Intangle

1. Check that you completed the OAuth authorization in your browser

2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting in Claude Desktop settings

3. Make sure you're using the latest version of Claude Desktop

The connection keeps disconnecting

This can happen if the OAuth token expires. Simply:

1. Go back to Settings → MCP Servers

2. Remove the Intangle server

3. Add it again and reauthorize

Still stuck?

Contact Support and include:

  • What error message you're seeing

  • Screenshots of your MCP Servers settings
